However, homes for sale by owners are not listed on the MLS. They charge an additional fee to do that. Your listing agent knows what day to add a listing to the MLS. In addition, having enough pictures and correct information is very important to selling your home. A good listing agent knows these tricks of the trade and this knowledge will give you a professional edge that you can’t get any other way. You want the best representation and the best service. You want a listing agent to get top dollar for your home and to get it sold as quickly as possible.
